Why should I get an Induction Clean?

diesel-induction-before-and-after.jpg

An induction clean removes carbon and residue from the injectors, throttle body, EGR and intake.  Because today’s fuel systems work with such fine tolerances, even the smallest deposits can have a  dramatic effect on engine performance.

With so many do-it-yourself products on the shelf you may wonder why you should pay a mechanic to do the job.  The answer is simple. Off-the-shelf products are highly caustic and flammable and may damage the delicate inner workings of many modern fuel injection systems.  Professional cleaning is done using a pressurized system which makes it both gentle and thorough.

For optimal performance, fuel economy and emissions, we recommend an induction clean every 18 months or 50,000 km.
