What will my repairer need to know before quoting on my clutch repairs?

Firstly, we always recommend inspection of the vehicle to confirm any diagnosis.

Where this isn’t possible, here’s a few things we’ll need to know:

• What symptoms did you notice?  e.g. Is it hard to change gears or no gears?  Is the clutch pedal hard or pedal to the floor?

• What is the vehicle used for? e.g. 4WDing or towing?

• Do you want a standard or heavy duty clutch?

• Does it currently have a single or dual mass flywheel?
